Roman Reigns Says Bloodline Member Will Leave WWE After Backlash 2026
Roman Reigns has made a shocking statement after WWE Backlash.
The Original Tribal Chief captured the World Heavyweight Championship at WrestleMania 42 by beating CM Punk. Tonight at Backlash, he defended the title for the first time against his cousin, Jacob Fatu.
Although Reigns successfully retained his title, it was The Samoan Werewolf who stood tall as the show went off the air. Fatu launched a vicious attack on his cousin after the match ended, forcing officials and even RAW General Manager Adam Pearce to rush to the ring.
That did not stop the former United States Champion, as he even took out a referee and other WWE officials before continuing his attack on Reigns. He then grabbed the World Heavyweight Championship and stood over The OTC’s body, seemingly signaling that the feud is set to continue.
Backlash Was Jacob Fatu’s Last Night In WWE, Says Roman Reigns
After the show went off the air, Cathy Kelley interviewed Roman Reigns as he headed backstage. The World Heavyweight Champion claimed his cousin, Jacob Fatu, did not belong in the Stamford-based company.
The OTC then sent a message to The Samoan Werewolf, telling him that Backlash was his last night in WWE.
This is why we shouldn’t have let Jacob in this company. You don’t belong here, Jacob. There’s no order with you. This is your last night here.
