Roman Reigns Expected To Capture Major WWE Title

Roman Reigns is going up against CM Punk at WrestleMania 42 for the World Heavyweight Championship.

Now, the champion and challenger have already met once on the Road to WrestleMania, and that segment ended on a heel note. However, the heel-ish comment came from The Best in the World and not The OTC.

It needs to be noted that it’s Punk who is the babyface in this feud and not Roman Reigns. So, Punk claiming to bury Reigns beside his Late father and WWE Hall of Famer, Sika Anoa’i, shook everyone watching the promo.

CM Punk cannot defeat Roman Reigns

There is much debate about who will walk away with the victory. This is a match that has been brewing for a while, and WWE has enough faith in it that it released the match right after Royal Rumble to boost ticket sales.

On The Last Word, produced by Behind The Turnbuckle Studios, Tommy Carlucci spoke about what could interest one to watch Punk vs. Reigns, especially if there isn’t a set storyline. Furthermore, he claimed that no one in their right mind should think CM Punk can defeat Roman Reigns.

We’re assuming this, the main event for night two is going to be CM Punk and Roman Reigns. And now it’s starting to get because these guys, you know, know each other for years. And that’s what I said to Coach, where are we getting a storyline from here? How am I going to be interested enough to see this match? Because look, I think everybody in their right mind, I think there’s no way CM Punk is beating Roman Reigns at WrestleMania.

It has been speculated that The OTC can bring up a painful memory from CM Punk’s past to get even with him.
