Ricky Starks Explains His Movie Goals

Ricky Starks doesn’t just see his career as solely being in the squared circle, and even has his eye on a particular movie genre he’d like to get involved in.

Over recent weeks ‘Absolute’ Ricky Starks has seen his stock rise in AEW. This also included picking up a victory over Chris Jericho on the 4th January 2023 edition of Dynamite.

However, it would seem that Starks has his sights set on a career in Hollywood as well as at the top of the professional game.

In an interview with GVWire, Ricky Starks discussed how he’d love to get involved in the Marvel and D.C. brands if he ends up on the silver screen.

I see myself making a lot of money. I see myself on top of the wrestling world and I see myself, you know, doing some some movies here and there. Maybe some DC or Marvel movies. Who knows?

Starks also discussed how he has prepared for his match with Jake Hager on the upcoming edition of AEW Dynamite, and how he is doing that off the back of facing Chris Jericho so recently.

To me is pretty important just because it gets more eyes on who I am as a competitor and also … it’s kind of been an up-and-down battle, so to speak, in the past few years. So I think it’s great to finally test my challenge against somebody like Chris Jericho in that regard. Going through this whole bout with Jericho coming out at the end of it, a lot better rested than I was, you know, going into it is what I’m aiming for here.”

Ricky Starks also recently opened up on helping The Undertaker prepare for his match against John Cena at WrestleMania 34.
