Ricky Saints Set For Last Man Standing NXT Title Match

Ricky Saints is set to put his NXT Championship on the line in a Last Man Standing match against one man who has held his fair share of gold.

Ricky Saints captured the NXT Championship at No Mercy when he defeated Oba Femi for the title. That was the last time Femi has been in action on NXT TV, as questions continue to mount over his future on the brand, with a move to WWE’s main roster a real possibility.

At Halloween Havoc, Ricky Saints retained his title against Trick Williams. Williams is a former NXT and TNA World Champion, but currently finds himself without gold with two huge losses in a row against both Saints and Mike Santana at TNA Bound For Glory.

Ricky Saints Faces Trick Williams One More Time

Williams wanted a piece of Saints on the October 28th edition of NXT, initiating a brawl between the two men that lasted for most of the show. Saints and Williams re-emerged during the night’s main event between Jordynne Grace and Kelani Jordan.

Ricky Saints and Trick Williams ended up driving each other through a wall, finally calling a halt to their fight. NXT General Manager Ava appeared and announced that the two stars would meet in a Last Man Standing match for the NXT Championship on the November 11th show on The CW.
