Former NXT Champion Ricky Saints wrestled his final match on the black and silver brand tonight as he’s set to move up to the main roster by the end of this week.

Saints has already seen the likes of Ethan Page, Joe Hendry, Sol Ruca, and Fatal Influence make their presence known on the main roster, and he will be keen on doing so as well later this week.

He is set to make his WWE SmackDown debut this week and had his final match on the promotion’s developmental brand tonight after it was made official last week on NXT.

Ricky Saints wrestled his final WWE NXT match tonight

Saints got into an argument with Shiloh Hill backstage on WWE NXT last week, and their interaction led to Ricky Saints taking on Shiloh Hill in his final match on the black and silver promotion.

Both wrestlers gave it their all in the match tonight, as it became difficult to call who would leave as the winner before it was revealed to be Hill after Ricky tried to hit him with a steel chair.

The former NXT Champion tried to bash him with a steel chair, but the referee stopped him, allowing Hill to hit a firm right hand on Saints. He then hit a drop toe hold onto the steel chair before hitting Saints with a Whisper to the Beast to get the win.
