Debuting WWE Faction Takes Out Rhea Ripley On First SmackDown Post WrestleMania 42
Friday Night SmackDown, following WWE WrestleMania 42, is one of the most highly anticipated episodes of the blue brand as it generally means new stories and rivalries for the fans.
Tonight’s episode didn’t disappoint the WWE faithful as many new directions were introduced on the show, including the debut of Fatal Influence on the main roster.
The trio debuted during the Women’s Tag Team Title match, which saw Brie Bella and Paige defend their titles against Charlotte Flair and Alexa Bliss. They interrupted the match and took everyone out to stand tall in the ring.
Rhea Ripley suffers a major attack on WWE SmackDown
Later in the night, newly crowned WWE Women’s Champion, Rhea Ripley, made her way to the ring and celebrated her victory at WrestleMania 42 along with the Fort Worth fans.
She claimed that she would be a fighting champion on the brand and asked anyone who wanted to step up to take their shot. This time, Fatal Influence made their presence known once again as they stepped up to Rhea Ripley, as the fans booed them.
They didn’t let Jacy Jayne speak for a while as they booed her throughout before she got into a match with the WWE Women’s Champion. Both women put on a good show, and it seemed like Ripley was in control of the match.
However, Jayne had her faction members, Lainey Reed and Fallon Henley, interrupt the match and take out Rhea Ripley in a 3-on-1 attack, making her their fifth victim of the night.
