Rhea Ripley witnessed one of her opponents suffering a big injury in the middle of a match.

The Eradicator is heading to WrestleMania 42 to challenge Jade Cargill for the WWE Women’s Championship. Ahead of this showdown in Las Vegas, Mami has now recalled watching an opponent of hers break a bone the last time she was at the venue.

Rhea Ripley Reveals What Happened During a Major Women’s World Championship Match

The Aussie was invited for an interview on The Ebro Laura Rosenberg Show. While speaking, the 2026 Elimination Chamber winner talked about the exact moment when Bianca Belair broke her finger at WrestleMania 41.

Notably, The EST of WWE and Mami were facing IYO SKY in a Triple Threat match for the Women’s World Championship. While SKY retained the gold and Rhea Ripley returned empty-handed, Belair’s injury has kept her on the shelf to this day. Speaking about it, the former Judgment Day member said:

Oh, dude, you should have seen it in the match. We hit the ground, and I see her turn around, and she goes, ‘I think I broke my finger,’ and I was like, ‘Oh, that’s not good.’ We were like maybe halfway through. Her ring finger, I believe it was, yeah.” [H/T Fightful]

Despite getting injured, Bianca Belair persevered till the end of the fight, but is yet to make a comeback. She did return as a special guest referee at the 2025 Evolution for a match between Jade Cargill and Naomi.

Interestingly, she had earned her WrestleMania 41 match by winning the Elimination Chamber last year. Now, Rhea Ripley is also heading to WM42 after winning this year’s EC match to face Belair’s former friend. It would be interesting to see if Mami will be able to dethrone The Storm to become the new WWE Women’s Champion in Las Vegas.
