Rhea Ripley Does The Unthinkable; Chooses Top WWE Heel
Rhea Ripley recently chose this major heel WWE star as one of the future greats of the company.
Rhea Ripley is the Women’s Undisputed WWE Champion. She won the belt from Jade Cargill at WrestleMania 42 and will be facing The Storm again at Clash in Italy this weekend in a rematch with her title on the line.
Rhea Ripley has been one of the women’s division’s standout stars for the past several years, main eventing the last 8 WrestleManias. But Ripley is a babyface who is over with the fans. Which is why it may come as a surprise to many that she recently broke character and spoke highly of another rising star, one who is a heel, Bron Breakker.
Rhea Ripley said on Topps during a pack opening video that she feels Breakker is going to be one of the biggest faces of the company in the years to come. She chose Breakker as the person she would invest all her money in.
Maybe Bron Breakker. He’s already done so much within this company in such a short amount of time, and he’s only growing. I feel he’s going to be one of the biggest faces in this company in the next few years.
As Rhea Ripley Defends Her Title, Bron Breakker Will Team Up With Austin Theory In Place Of Logan Paul
Bron Breakker missed months of action this year due to injury, but came back stronger than ever at WrestleMania 42 and speared Seth Rollins in half. He picked up a rivalry that was incomplete, as Rollins was out since November last year, nursing an injury as well.
Breakker won against Rollins in their match at Backlash, asserting his dominance further. He is part of the heel faction, the Vision, oh which he is the leading figure, a spot he took from Rollins after ousting the Architect from the faction last year.
He will now also be partnering alongside Tag Team Champion Austin Theory as a stand-in for the Tag Team Champions’ other half, Logan Paul, who recently suffered a triceps tear and will be out of action for months. Paul, who has said that he expects to return sooner than predicted, has Theory in good hands with the dominant Breakker.
Theory has also been on a mean streak to avenge his partner Logan Paul’s injury from last week’s Saturday Night’s Main Event and took down Joe Hendry and Angelo Dawkins, two wrestlers who have opposed Paul recently.
Interestingly, also, Bron Breakker may find himself sharing the spotlight with his real-life cousin after Brock Reichsteiner, the son of WWE Hall of Famer Scott Steiner, said that Breakker had convinced him to pursue a professional wrestling career.
