Rhea Ripley Breaks Character To Defend Liv Morgan After WWE WrestleMania Saturday
Liv Morgan challenged Stephanie Vaquer for the WWE Women’s World Championship at WrestleMania 42 on Saturday.
The fans at Allegiant Stadium in Las Vegas saw Judgment Day members Roxanne Perez and Raquel Rodriguez intervene multiple times in the match. Because of the distraction caused by outside interference, Liv capitalized and defeated La Primera to become the new Women’s World Champion.
Morgan put up a brilliant performance against Stephanie, which earned her widespread praise from the internet wrestling community. However, she also received quite a backlash from fans for her WrestleMania entrance.
Liv Morgan Makes A Bold Entrance At WrestleMania 42
Morgan made her entrance to her new theme song, “Trouble,” which debuted just a few days before the event. Her entrance was a full-blown, choreographed performance, which also included backup dancers with chairs.
Morgan also made a bold move when she used a male backup dancer as a human pedestal before stepping into the ring for her match with Stephanie Vaquer. As she was about to make her way to the ring, the backup dancer ripped off her formal suit to reveal her ring gear underneath in a striptease-style reveal.
While some fans praised her bold entrance style, others heavily criticized it on social media. A Twitter fan even went to great lengths to call Morgan’s entrance one of the worst they had seen at WrestleMania.
The tweet caught Rhea Ripley’s attention, and she stepped in to defend Morgan. Check out Ripley’s tweet defending her below.
“One of the worst entrances I’ve seen at Mania,” the fan tweeted.
Rhea responded, “You spelt *best* wrong.”

Rhea Ripley and Liv Morgan used to be fierce rivals in WWE. They fought over the Women’s World Championship in 2024, and the storyline also saw Dominik Mysterio betray Ripley to join forces with Morgan. Still, to this day, they are portrayed as rivals on-screen, but behind the scenes, they are very good friends.
