Rhea Ripley Takes Shot At Jade Cargill’s “Limited Experience” Going Into WWE WrestleMania Match
The experience level of Jade Cargill was on Rhea Ripley’s mind when talking about their WrestleMania match.
Rhea Ripley has built quite the legacy for herself at WrestleMania, considering every match she’s had at the biggest WWE show of the year has been for a championship.
Since making her WrestleMania debut in front of no fans at WrestleMania 36 in 2020, Rhea Ripley has taken on some of the biggest names of all time at WrestleMania.
Charlotte Flair has been Ripley’s opponent twice at WrestleMania, while Ripley has also faced off against the likes of Asuka, Becky Lynch, Iyo Sky, and Bianca Belair. Many of those matches are remembered as classics, too.
At WrestleMania 42 in Las Vegas, Rhea Ripley will go head-to-head against the WWE Women’s Champion Jade Cargill because Ripley earned the title shot by winning the Women’s Elimination Chamber match.
During a recent appearance on The Ebro, Laura & Rosenberg Show, Ripley was asked if she felt pressure going into WrestleMania.
“I do. I do. I definitely do. Um I feel like this is a match that a lot of people have wanted for a long time, especially at WrestleMania. There’s already so much pressure going into that day and into that match.”
“And then also going off of last year, it was the same at WrestleMania 39 when I faced Charlotte. Then going into WrestleMania 40, I was like, I have to do just as well as I did the year before. Like I really have to.”
Rhea Ripley Feels The Pressure Of Facing Jade Cargill
Jade Cargill is 2-0 in her WWE career at WrestleMania after winning a tag team match at WrestleMania 40 and winning a grudge match over Naomi at WrestleMania 41.
When it comes to experience in big matches, Cargill hasn’t been wrestling nearly as long as some of Ripley’s past WrestleMania opponents like Flair, Lynch, Asuka, and others.
That led Ripley to take a bit of a shot at Cargill’s lack of experience, even though she was also being truthful.
“But now stepping in with someone that has only had limited experience within the wrestling industry compared to a lot of people on the show, I do have that pressure to kind of uplift her and bring her to a different level so we can go out there and we can make magic just like everyone expects from us.”
