Andrade El Idolo has spoken.

The one-time NXT Champion was sent home from this week’s AEW Dynamite after getting into a physical backstage altercation with Sammy Guevara, reportedly connecting with two punches. This subsequently led to Andrade also being removed from this Friday’s live Rampage broadcast.

Posting to Twitter, the La Faccion Ingobernable man very simply posted a quote indirectly aimed at Sammy Guevara, stating that respect goes both ways. Guevara is yet to respond to Andrade’s latest comments at the time of writing.

While Andrade El Idolo suffered the consequences of the altercation, Sammy Guevara was seemingly let off scotch free, continuing to main event this week’s Dynamite alongside Chris Jericho in a winning effort over Bryan Danielson and Daniel Garcia.

Although he remains officially contracted to All Elite Wrestling, it’s been reported that Andrade is actively attempting to get himself fired, with the Wrestling Observer’s Dave Meltzer noting that such outbursts of behaviour aren’t too uncommon in wrestling. El Idolo is allegedly one of three names vigorously trying to obtain their exits from AEW.
