Personal Reason Behind Jimmy Uso’s WWE Absence Revealed
Jimmy Uso has missed two weeks of WWE programming.
The twin brother of former World Heavyweight Champion Jey Uso was last seen on the January 5, 2026, episode of Raw.
The previous week, he and Jey had defeated AJ Styles and Dragon Lee to become 9-time tag team champions. Their victory ended months of struggle, where the siblings appeared directionless as singles competitors.
So, the decision by the company to bring the brothers together seems to have worked as they continue to dominate the tag team division.
During the WWE Raw taping, The Usos came out and put all tag teams on notice, reiterating that the best tag team was back together.
The next couple of weeks saw only Jey Uso come out and cut a promo in front of the audience while firing a warning shot at their future challengers.
In August 2025, Jimmy Uso’s wife, Naomi, was forced to vacate the Women’s World Championship after learning that she was pregnant.
Later, she revealed the gender of the baby, stating that they were having a boy. The 38-year-old also claimed that she was forced to cancel the gender reveal party due to a ‘complication.’
During his absence, Jimmy has been tending to his wife.

Jimmy Uso Could Miss WWE Royal Rumble
Over the last few weeks, several WWE superstars have confirmed their participation in the 2026 Royal Rumble in Saudi Arabia on January 31.
When Naomi found out about her pregnancy, she was almost two months into it, meaning she would be 7 or 8 months at the time of the year’s first premium live event.
Due to the concerns surrounding her complications, it is believed that Jimmy Uso will prefer being by her side rather than traveling thousands of miles to another country.
