Raquel Rodriguez: Liv Morgan Will Be Back Before Any Of Us Can Really Imagine

Liv Morgan will be back in action soon according to Raquel Rodriguez.

Morgan began 2023 in style by lasting over an hour in the women’s Royal Rumble match before being eliminated by eventual winner Rhea Ripley. As the year progressed, Morgan found herself teaming with Raquel Rodriguez, and the pair won the Women’s Tag Team Titles twice.

However, Morgan’s year has been punctuated by injury, with both tag team title reigns coming to an end after she suffered two separate shoulder injuries.

The second of these problems has kept the star out of action in recent months, and in July it was reported there was “no time frame” for her return. But that could be about to change.

Speaking in a new interview with the Dallas Morning News, Rodriguez — who has starred in singles action with Morgan injured — said her tag team partner will be back sooner rather than later.

“Yeah, I’ve talked to Liv. She’s doing great. She’s really recovering well. She’s in very good spirits, and of course, she’s very, very anxious to come back. I don’t have a specific date of when she’ll be back. We’re all waiting for her.

I know, I miss her terribly. So I’m very excited for that. But I feel like time has been flying, and she’s just been on it, on her recovery. So I would assume she’d be back sooner rather than later, and probably before any of us can really imagine,”

When Did Liv Morgan Get Injured?

Liv Morgan hasn’t wrestled since July 17th, when she and Rodriguez lost the Women’s Tag Team Titles to Chelsea Green and Sonya Deville. Before the match, Morgan was attacked by Rhea Ripley, essentially taking her out of action.

The attack was used as a way to write her off television.
