Randy Orton Solidifies Heel Turn With Explosive WWE SmackDown Promo

The WWE Universe was looking forward to hearing from The Viper, Randy Orton, tonight as he made his way to the ring in the same shirt from last week, which had Cody’s blood smeared on it.

Orton and Rhodes were scheduled for a contract signing on last week’s episode, following which The Viper turned on Cody Rhodes and unleashed a brutal attack on his former friend.

He was scheduled for an interview on Monday Night RAW this week, but he couldn’t join the interview and stated that he would reveal his motive on tonight’s episode of SmackDown

Orton sat in the ring and stated that he wants his legacy to be about the World Championships he won during his career. He claimed he was prepared to do whatever it takes to win number 15 against Drew McIntyre, but things changed when Cody became champion.

He said that while he still loves Cody, he was conflicted about doing what he did last week, but Rhodes took the weight off him after he told him that he needs to be the Viper for their match, which prompted Orton to do what he did last week.

Cody asked him to listen to the voices and Orton said that he did just that as he needs that killer instinct to add the number 15 to his catalouge and claimed that he will become a 15-time World Champion at WWE WrestleMania 42.
