Randy Orton Drops Chilling Warning Ahead Of WWE SmackDown

Randy Orton will be on the March 20th, 2026 edition of WWE SmackDown.

This is the first time The Viper will be live on WWE TV since turning heel on Cody Rhodes at the WrestleMania 42 contract signing segment.

At this point, fans are looking forward to seeing what The Apex Predator has to say for himself after he left The American Nightmare bleeding.

Randy Orton has shared a message ahead of WWE SmackDown

The Viper will face Cody Rhodes at The Grandest Stage of All for the Undisputed WWE Championship. Fans weren’t too keen when Rhodes dethroned Drew McIntyre ahead of WrestleMania 42, but WWE is not worried about the backlash. Rhodes vs. Orton has the power to keep the fans hooked to the developing storyline.

Ahead of Friday Night SmackDown, The Apex Predator has taken to social media to drop a message. He used a photograph of himself that has Cody Rhodes’ blood on his hands from the signing segment.

Careful what you wish for

Randy Orton’s heel turn came at a time when fans believed it would be Cody Rhodes who turned heel. He had been showing signs of turning heel, but it seems WWE has other plans for the Undisputed WWE Champion.
