It’s tough being Solo Sikoa in WWE.

Sikoa joined the Stamford promotion as an enforcer for Roman Reigns’ Bloodline. Since parting ways with the Original Tribal Chief, he has formed his own faction called ‘My Family Tree’ or the MFT.

The MFT is comprised of Sikoa as the leader, JC Mateo, Tama Tonga, Tonga Loa, and Talla Tonga.

The five-man group is currently involved in a long-standing feud with The Wyatt Sicks, led by Uncle Howdy, aka Bo Dallas.

On the latest episode of SmackDown, the leaders of both factions squared off in a singles match with none of their faction members joining them at the ringside.

The match was mildly received by the fans. Despite Solo Sikoa dominating the match for the majority of the allotted time, he endured a defeat when Uncle Howdy hit him with the Sister Abigail.

Solo Sikoa Would Not Survive Witout MFTs

Along with being the leader of the MFTs, Solo Sikoa is also the one-half of the SmackDown Tag Team Champions with Tama Tonga.

During a recent episode of the Notsam Wrestling podcast, host Sam Roberts answered a query regarding the MFTs, where the user asked if Tama Tonga would split with Sikoa or would the faction kick out their leader owing to his recent loss to Uncle Howdy.

Roberts reviewed the question, and while he claimed that he did not see the group disbanding, he believed that Solo would unfortunately not survive without his stablemates.

I don’t know that I see the MFTs breaking up right now. I wish that the MFTs were having a little bit more success. I’d like the MFTs to be elevated. I like the push that Tama Tonga is getting, but I don’t think that Solo would survive being kicked out of the MFTs. And I also don’t know what that group is without Solo, like, who’s talking for that group? [1:15:26 onwards]

Elsewhere, Shinsuke Nakamura has tried getting inside the head of Tama Tonga by pitting him against Solo Sikoa in backstage segments.
