They contested in a tag team match at Money in the Bank PLE, Cena teaming with Logan Paul and Rhodes with Jey Uso.

Rhodes then competed in and won the King of the Ring Tournament for the chance to challenge the world champion at SummerSlam.

During their last encounter, John Cena attempted to back out of their match, but was attacked and forced to sign the contract by Cody Rhodes.

Cody Rhodes is a hot favorite to reclaim the championship going into SummerSlam. Some fans have also predicted a heel turn for him at ‘the Biggest Party of the Summer.’

While fans and critics continue to debate their views, a surprise prediction has emerged.

During the latest episode of the REBOOKED Wrestling Podcast, former WWE star Aiden English, real name Matthew Rehwoldt, claimed the title won’t change hands.
