Triple H Looking To Sign AEW Star To WWE Once Contract Expires
Triple H may be looking to sign a current AEW star.
Persephone is a name that has been making the rounds in the independent scene for the past few years. She first gained traction in CMLL, where she is the current World Women’s Champion.
Her impressive performances helped her land an AEW contract as well. She has been an active competitor in Tony Khan’s company since last year. Persephone is known for her impressive in-ring skills. She is also widely regarded as one of the most promising female stars outside of WWE. Therefore, Persephone is attracting a lot of interest for some major promotions.
According to a report from Dave Meltzer of the Wrestling Observer Newsletter, people in WWE are already talking about signing Persephone when her current contract expires this year.

Vince Russo believes Triple H’s creative authority may be limited in WWE
Triple H took over creative control of WWE from Vince McMahon a few years ago. While he was initially praised for his booking, Triple H has found himself in the crosshairs of fans and critics for his booking choices recently. Many fans have been unhappy with the WWE product, and this has resulted in a drop in ratings.
During a recent edition of Behind The Turnbuckle Studios’ The Coach & Bro Show, Vince Russo agreed with Karrion Kross’ previous comments that there may be people above him who may be interfering in his booking. Russo said that Triple may have had full creative control in the beginning, but that is no longer the case.
“Yeah, my take was that’s what the situation turned into. I would believe he had full creative control at the beginning, but looking at the results, now that chime in, you know, Coach, we’re talking about New York at the beginning of this show. George Steinbrenner, bro, when the Yankees started going south, George got involved. Yes, he did. He got involved with lineups like he got involved. This case sounds very, very similar to me. It really does.”
It remains to be seen if WWE will be successful in signing Persephone.
