Penta Makes Big Promise On Milestone Day In WWE

WWE Penta

Penta is celebrating a milestone.

January 13, 2026, marks the first year of the masked luchador’s WWE debut, where he defeated Chad Gable in a singles match in San Jose, California.

Since making his presence felt in the Stamford promotion, the 40-year-old has earned a massive fan following across the United States and beyond.

Primarily a mid-carder, he was immediately inserted into the Intercontinental Championship picture, even getting a title match at WrestleMania 41 in a four-way match, alongside the then-champion Bron Breakker, Dominik Mysterio, and Finn Balor.

He even unsuccessfully challenged Dominik Mysterio for the IC title at Backlash and on the October 13 episode of Raw.

He was also a part of the ‘Last Time Is Now’ tournament, where he lost to Solo Sikoa after being deemed unable to compete due to an injury.

A video of him commemorating his anniversary was posted on the WWE Español account, where he admitted to not achieving the best results all the time. However, he promised that he would become a champion despite how many times he loses.

It’s been one year since I arrived in WWE, I know I haven’t achieved the best results but I keep fighting every single day, because this I promise all of you.

I don’t know when, I don’t know how, but there’s one thing I can promise: Penta will be champion in WWE.

No matter what. No matter who I have to beat. No matter how many times I have to lose. Penta will be champion. And you know why? Because I am Penta El Cero Miedo.

Penta Returns To Action On WWE Raw

Penta returned on the December 29, 2025, episode of Raw, where he interjected himself into an attack on Rey Mysterio by The Vision.

The Vision members were unhappy, setting a tag team match between two of their members against him and Dragon Lee on January 12, 2026.

The match witnessed hard-hitting action and aerial maneuvers before facing an abrupt end after Bron Breakker hit a Spear on Lee.

He then speared Penta, too, who also ate a Tsunami from Bronson Reed.
