Paul Heyman’s Sure Brock Lesnar Has Signed New WWE Deal
Brock Lesnar looks to have signed a new deal with WWE, according to his long-time advocate, Paul Heyman.
Brock Lesnar made his shock return to WWE at SummerSlam, where he attacked John Cena moments after Cena had lost his WWE Championship to Cody Rhodes.
The last time fans had seen Lesnar in the company was back at SummerSlam in 2023, where he lost to Rhodes. A return in 2024 was called off after Brock Lesnar was named 44 times in the sexual abuse lawsuit filed against former WWE owner Vince McMahon.
Triple H originally claimed Lesnar’s return came at John Cena’s request. However, Cena has commented that he’s simply playing the cards WWE deals him in his final year as an active wrestler. Michael Cole revealed on Raw that Triple H and Nick Khan had reached out to Lesnar several weeks ago, noting that it was time for Lesnar to return.
Brock Lesnar Gets New WWE Deal
One man who is sure to have the inside track is Lesnar’s long-time advocate, Paul Heyman. Paul Heyman has demanded critics “get over” Brock Lesnar’s return and, on The Ariel Helwani Show, noted that he believes Lesnar has signed a brand new deal with WWE:
Oh, I’m sure there’s a new deal involved.
Brock Lesnar has not been advertised for any more WWE appearances as yet, but John Cena is scheduled to be on the August 8th edition of SmackDown, so he could well turn up there to target the former WWE Champion once again.
