Paige Teases Major WWE Return: “Soon”

WWE superstar Paige sent a frenzy throughout the wrestling world as she made her return to the Stamford-based promotion at WrestleMania 42 this past April.

Paige left WWE back in 2017 after a neck injury prematurely ended her in-ring career. She worked in several roles, both off-screen and on-screen, following her in-ring retirement before leaving the promotion.

She ultimately trained hard to make a comeback to the squared circle and finally returned to wrestling with AEW, signing with the promotion in 2022. Paige spent three years in the All Elite promotion before leaving them, and after a brief hiatus, made her return to WWE.

The Anti-Diva’s return to WWE was kept a surprise for the fans, and she was revealed as Brie Bella’s tag team partner for her Women’s Tag Team Championship match, as Nikki Bella suffered an injury that rendered her unable to compete.

Paige responds to a WWE fan on X

Paige and Brie Bella went on to become the Women’s Tag Team Champions at the Show of Shows and have since been defending the titles on both RAW and SmackDown. With the women’s tag team division booming, they have multiple challengers eyeing their belts.

Recently, the 33-year-old took to social media to make an announcement regarding her WWE future. Paige is fairly active on X and recently responded to a fan’s post about the Anti-Diva.

The fan posted a clip of Paige performing various submission moves on her opponents during her first run in the promotion. He appreciated the wide array of moves she had in her arsenal and tagged her to ask when she would be bringing these moves back on screen.

The Anti-Diva responded to the post with a single word, “Soon!! 🙏❤️”, indicating that we might witness her use more of her submission holds in her upcoming matches.
