Paige (Saraya) Tipped To Make WWE Return In New Role

For a few weeks now, there have been speculations about Saraya, fka Paige, returning to WWE in some capacity.

Ahead of the 2026 Royal Rumble PLE, a video of the former Divas Champion surfaced online, showing her sparring with independent wrestler Vipress.

The video sparked speculations about the 33-year-old’s return to in-ring competition, with even her AEW bestie Harley Cameron expressing joy over it.

Unfortunately, she was not one of the 30 participants in the women’s Rumble match. During a recent podcast with Hollywood star Freddie Prinze Jr., she revealed how much she would have loved to be a part of the show, but she never received the call from WWE.

Nevertheless, as they say, when one door closes, another one opens, and this is something that could work in Saraya’s favor.

Saraya Could Return To WWE As NXT Manager

Whether or not there have been discussions held between Saraya and WWE about other roles in the company is unknown.

But Hall of Famer Booker T believes she could return to occupy the vacant NXT Manager’s position.

The office was previously held by Ava, The Rock’s daughter, who decided not to renew her contract, her January 27 appearance being her last. As a result, NXT boss Shawn Michaels appointed Robert Stone as the interim manager at the beginning of the latest episode.

Speaking on his Hall of Fame podcast, Booker T addressed the departure of Ava, while speculating about Saraya’s return to the company as a general manager.

You know what? What a hell of a return would that be? What a hell of a return would that be? That would be so awe-shocking, just because you’re not expecting it. It’s totally out of left field, and it’s someone I could see playing that role and playing that role very, very well… Great idea, great idea. [H/T: Fightful]

Saraya has previously held the general manager’s position on WWE SmackDown when she was hired into the role by Shane McMahon.
