Gunther has been on an impressive winning streak in singles competition, but one WWE star could end it.

The Ring General has been unbeatable since losing to CM Punk in a World Heavyweight Championship match at SummerSlam nearly seven months ago.

The 38-year-old retired three WWE legends: Goldberg, John Cena, and AJ Styles. However, he has been absent from television for almost four weeks following his victory over Dragon Lee on RAW.

On an episode of Notsam Wrestling, WWE analyst Sam Roberts suggested that Gunther return to face LA Knight at WrestleMania 42. He noted that it could lead to a massive clash for the Austrian star at SummerSlam.

Oba Femi To End Gunther’s Winning Streak?

Sam Roberts proposed that Gunther beat LA Knight at the Show of Shows, cementing his status as the superstar who wins matches that fans hate to see him win.

The 42-year-old added that it could lead to a clash between The Ring General and Oba Femi at SummerSlam, with The Ruler finally putting an end to Gunther’s dominance. The Nigerian Giant is currently a free agent and is scheduled to face Brock Lesnar at WrestleMania 42.
