Oba Femi About Brock Lesnar: “These Guys Are My Equals”

Oba Femi vs. Brock Lesnar for WrestleMania 42 has been confirmed.

The Beast had issued an open challenge to the roster. On the latest episode of WWE RAW, it seemed that Seth Rollins was accepting that challenge, but just as Lesnar stepped inside the ring with Rollins, the lights went out.

Oba Femi arrived and took out The Beast with a monstrous Powerbomb. Following that, he pointed at the WrestleMania sign. Later, WWE and Triple H confirmed the match.

Oba Femi made a bold claim regarding Brock Lesnar

While speaking to SHAK Wrestling, the young superstar noted that whenever someone is called up, it is important that the superstars start viewing the main roster as equals and not greater. That is the mindset that helped him break through all obstacles and become the monster facing Brock Lesnar at WrestleMania 42.

I think the key thing in such moments is to remind yourself that you belong! Because a lot of people get called up or they join the industry, but they still see the top guys as just, you know, these stars that are bigger than them, and they still see themselves as fans. After a while, you have to get rid of that; that has to go out the door, and that has been out the door for years.

When it comes to me, when I as soon as I signed my NXT contract, I was under the impression that these guys are my equals, my heroes will be my rivals, and I made that a statement, and I think that came to fruition when I stood across from Brock at the Royal Rumble.

Ever since the global juggernaut confirmed Brock Lesnar vs. Oba Femi, there have been many conversations about LA Knight’s exclusion from the match card and that he was a name discussed for a Brock Lesnar match.
