WWE NXT Tapings Results For Final Two Episodes Of 2022 (SPOILERS)
The final two episodes of WWE NXT have been taped and here is what happens on those two shows to end 2022.
It has been a busy week for the NXT roster following the last WWE Premium Live Event of the year, which was Deadline on December 10th. That was followed by the NXT episode on December 12th that saw Roxanne Perez beat Mandy Rose for the NXT Women’s Title in the main event. Rose was fired by WWE the next morning due to posting explicit content on a subscription service.
On Wednesday, December 14th, NXT taped the episodes of their show that will air on Tuesday, December 20th and Tuesday, December 27th. They will go live again on January 3rd and January 10th will be a New Year’s Evil special.

December 20th episode of NXT:
* Carmelo Hayes defeated Axiom after Trick Williams interfered. Axiom hit an Asai moonsault on Williams afterward.
* Zoey Stark defeated Nikkita Lyons after Stark grabbed the ropes.
* Kayden Carter & Katana Chance defeated Ivy Nile & Tatum Paxley and Jacy Jayne & Gigi Dolin to retain the NXT Women’s Tag Team titles. The finish came when Nile went to choke out Carter, but fell on her back and was pinned.
* Apollo Crews called out Carmelo Hayes. The two had a back-and-forth promo.
* Elektra Lopez defeated Indi Hartwell.
* Sol Ruca and Alba Fyre didn’t have a finish as Isla Dawn attacked Fyre, smashing her hand on the ring steps with a baseball bat.
* The New Day defeated Josh Briggs & Brooks Jensen to retain the NXT Tag Team titles. Woods won with a top rope elbow.
* Grayson Waller called out Bron Breakker. Breakker exited his car in the parking lot and went straight to the ring, spearing Waller. However, Waller had a metal plate under his jacket, similar to the Bret Hart/Bill Goldberg angle in WCW.

December 27th episode of NXT:
* Julius Creed defeated JD McDonagh after a sliding lariat. Indus Sher confronted The Creed Brothers after the match.
* Wendy Choo defeated Cora Jade after a top rope splash.
* Scrypts defeated Ikemen Jiro
* Lyra Valkyria defeated Lash Legend
* Schism defeated Odyssey Jones, Edris Enofe, and Malik Blade
* Fallon Henley defeated Kiana James
* Drew Gulak came out for a training segment and was accompanied by Hank Walker. He showed other NXT wrestlers the proper way to apply holds. Charlie Dempsey came to the ring and set up a match for “next week”.
* Wes Lee defeated Tony D’Angelo. Stacks attempted to interfere, but Dijak came out and took him to the back, allowing Lee to score the win.
