“No Chance In Hell” – Vince McMahon Ruled Out Of WWE Royal Rumble Return

Vince McMahon

Amid plenty of speculation surrounding Vince McMahon, WWE, and the Royal Rumble, it seems a reunion is not in the cards.

The Royal Rumble is set to take place on January 31st, and for the very first time, the annual event will be held in Saudi Arabia. Triple H has promised plenty of surprises for the Rumble, and a major star has confirmed their entry in the Rumble match for the first time in three years.

There has also been growing speculation that Vince McMahon could be welcomed back into the fold in some way, and it seems some expect the cover of Saudi Arabia to allow him back without too much scrutiny – at least in the building.

But it seems not everyone thinks McMahon is on his way back.

Vince McMahon Ruled Out Of WWE Return?

Speaking on his 1Wrestling YouTube show, veteran wrestling journalist Bill Apter explained why he doesn’t think WWE fans should expect a Vince McMahon sighting at the Royal Rumble:

No, he’s not going to be in the Royal Rumble. There’s no chance in hell that he’ll be in the Royal Rumble. At least, I think so. Remember the company, WWE since they’re with the new management and they don’t want any part of them from what I know just because of all the legal stuff that has gone on.

Vince McMahon was forced out of his role in WWE after a sexual abuse lawsuit was filed against him that caused sponsors to threaten to withdraw their support if he remained in power. Many fans have suspected that with Brock Lesnar returning to the fold after a two-year absence, because he was named in the lawsuit as well, that might open the door for an eventual return for McMahon.
