NJPW Star Comments On Sasha Banks – “There Will Be Surprises At The Tokyo Dome”
A current NJPW star has commented on the rumours suggesting that Sasha Banks will make her first NJPW appearance at Wrestle Kingdom 17.
Sasha Banks has been the talk of the wrestling world since it emerged that she is scheduled to make an appearance for NJPW at Wrestle Kingdom 17 on the 4th of January 2023. There has been no confirmation as to Banks’ WWE status, meaning the deal has created a lot of questions surrounding her future.
Speaking to Renee Paquette on The Sessions, NJPW star and office personnel Rocky Romero discussed the stories circulating about Banks but was remaining silent on the subject:
“I’ve heard a lot of rumors, but I can’t confirm nor deny at this moment. Fingers crossed, you never know what could happen. There will definitely be surprises at the Tokyo Dome.”
If Sasha Banks does make her NJPW debut on the show, many fans are expecting that she may confront the winner of the match for the IWGP Women’s Championship between challenger Tam Nakano and current champion and former WWE star, KAIRI.
