Newly Crowned WWE Champion Suffers Injury At Saturday Night’s Main Event

WWE kicked off Saturday Night’s Main Event with a massive match as the only title match present on the card opened the show inside Madison Square Garden.

The WWE Women’s Tag Team Championships were on the line tonight as Brie Bella and Paige defended their titles against Lainey Reid and Fallon Henley.

With Jacy Jayne present on the outside for the Fatal Influence, it was always going to be an uphill battle for the champions, as they tried to retain their belts.

However, the numbers game came into effect once again, and Jacy was influential in Lainey Reid pinning Paige to win the Women’s Tag Team Championships.

The newly crowned champions, though, did not leave the match unscathed. Fallon Henley, who was brawling with Brie for most of the match, suffered an injury.

She suffered a nasty injury during her fight with Brie, causing her to bleed from her mouth. It’s not clear how she suffered the blow, but she was visibly bleeding during the celebration. The blood did seem to lessen with time, so it should hopefully be a minor blow.
