WWE confirmed several new signings on the January 13 episode of NXT.

The opening segment featured General Manager Ava deciding what to do with the NXT Championship after Oba Femi relinquished it last week.

After the official announcement was made, a melee ensued, where one talent by the name of Keanu Carver stole the spotlight by destroying a couple of wrestlers. Earlier, Carver had been officially signed from Evolve.

The Vanity Project, comprising Jackson Drake, Ricky Smokes, and Brad Baylor, also confirmed their signing in a separate backstage segment.

At New Year’s Evil last week, a video package featuring a French wrestler named Elio LeFleur was shown, announcing that he was NXT-bound. An extended package was also run this week.

Later in the night, Men’s North American Champion Ethan Page congratulated Ava on the latest signings and continued to brag about his title reign.

Ava then informed him that he would be defending his championship next week, to which Page seemed reluctant. She revealed to him that LeFleur would be debuting on the developmental brand next week and would be his challenger.

Elio LeFleur Reacts To His Match Announcement On WWE NXT

Elio LeFleur officially signed with the Stamford promotion in October 2025. Since then, he has competed in a handful of dark matches and house shows.

The French national has a decade-long experience of competing in the independent circuit. Before his rebranding, he competed under the name Aigle Blanc, making appearances in promotions like NJPW and GCW.

LeFleur showed excitement towards Ava’s announcement by taking to X and addressing his debut next week.
