New WWE General Manager Officially Announced
The new manager for WWE’s Evolve brand has been revealed.
Evolve is a television program that allows talent from its Performance Center and its ID system to showcase their skills before they are bumped up to NXT.
Earlier, Stevie Turner served as the brand’s manager, who also dubbed herself the Evolve Prime Minister.
Turner had been a talent in the company since 2021, debuting in NXT UK before making her presence felt in NXT in the United States.
In June 2024, she was assigned the role of co-Assistant General Manager of the developmental brand along with Robert Stone by then-GM Ava.
Stevie Turner was announced as WWE Evolve’s manager in March 2025 in addition to her NXT role.
Turner revealed in October that she would be leaving the company after her contract ended, thus concluding her four-year tenure with the promotion.
Ava, too, left the company in late January 2026, prompting Senior Vice President of Talent Development Creative, Shawn Michaels, to make Robert Stone the interim general manager of NXT.
Robert Stone Reveals The New WWE Evolve Manager
Robert Stone has been a busy man on NXT, with some type of chaos erupting on the show almost every week.
Stone appeared on WWE Evolve during its March 11 taping, revealing Timothy Thatcher as its new authority figure. 42-year-old Thatcher is currently an active wrestler in the independent circuit and also works as a trainer for the Stamford promotion’s ID program.
Thatcher has previously held the EVOLVE Championship before WWE acquired the company in 2020.
Even though he refused the pound of Stone saying a handshake is the more old school way…it was a pleasure officially naming Timothy Thatcher the new Foremen (GM) of Evolve.
