NXT Opens With The Appoitment Of A New General Manager

A huge episode of WWE NXT is on offer for the fans tonight with multiple title matches set for tonight’s card. Last month’s New Year’s Evil provided a huge shock for the black and silver brand.

Oba Femi relinquished the NXT Championship after defeating Leon Slater, and former General Manager Ava announced a seven-person ladder match to crown the new champion tonight.

The show kicked off with Shawn Michaels making a rare appearance on screen as he addressed the departure of Ava from the promotion and decided to announce a new General Manager.

Robert Stone, who has been around the black and silver brand for the last few years, has been involved in many capacities in the past and used to assist Ava from time to time.

After impressing Michaels with the way he handled the show while the former General Manager was still in charge, the former DX member announced Stone as the new interim General Manager of the brand.
