MJF Pays Dearly After Mucking Up On AEW Dynamite
On the February 25 taping of AEW Dynamite, MJF was scheduled to reveal his part of the AEW World Championship stipulation for his match against ‘Hangman’ Adam Page.
Last week, Page advocated for a Texas Death Match, while adding that if he lost, he would never challenge for the World Title until he competed in the Jacksonville promotion.
On his part, MJF revealed the stipulation as a One-Way No Disqualification match, where he could do anything, but the same rule was not applicable to Page.
The champion called for a coin toss, which landed in his favor. However, before he could leave, Page wished to check the coin for its authenticity.
Denying any allegations of cheating, the AEW Champion decided to leave, but was stopped by JetSpeed and Brodido. Page then examined the coin, and revealed that it was a two-headed coin.
Tony Khan, who was in commentator Tony Schiavone’s ear, fianlized that the World Title Match at Revolution would be a Texas Death Match.
