Mercedes Mone Breaks Down In Tears In New Video Ahead Of In-Ring Return

Mercedes Mone

Mercedes Mone will compete for the first time in nine months on the 18th of February at New Japan Pro Wrestling’s Battle In The Valley event and now the former WWE star has shown her vulnerable side as she breaks down in tears ahead of that match.

It was one of the worst kept surprises in wrestling, as Mercedes Mone made her much-rumored and highly-anticipated NJPW debut at Wrestle Kingdom 17. Attacking KAIRI after her successful IWGP Women’s Championship defense, Mone laid out the title holder and issued a challenge for the belt, with the match now signed for Battle In The Valley in San Jose, California.

Taking to social media ahead of that match the star formerly known as Sasha Banks got emotional as she tried her best to explain how much this moment means to her:

“Man, I can’t believe how many people support me in this, I’m so happy, I’ve never felt so f*cking happy.”

If successful in her match against KAIRI for the IWGP Women’s Championship, Mone has made it clear that she plans to take the belt everywhere and recently hinted that she wants to face fellow ex-WWE star and current IMPACT Wrestling Knockouts Champion, Mickie James.
