Matt Hardy’s Current Relationship With Edge 22 Years After Lita Affair Revealed
Matt Hardy, Edge (Adam Copeland), and Lita were involved in a real-life love triangle.
Matt and Lita had been a long‑term couple since the late 1990s. While Matt was sidelined with a severe knee injury in 2004, Lita began a secret affair with Edge.
When Matt discovered the affair, he blew up online, posting rants and accusing Edge of betraying him and stealing Lita. WWE used this real-life controversy and turned it into a highly dramatic and intense storyline on TV.
The Hardy Boyz recently sat down for an interview with the Reallyfe Street Starz Clips, where they were asked about their current relationship with Edge.
Jeff revealed that he never had beef with the AEW star. Matt shared the same sentiment, claiming that they buried the hatchet a long time ago.
“I’ve never had beef with Edge,” Jeff said.
“No. Nobody has any beef with Edge, man. We’re all homies. Everybody’s good. Life’s short, man. You’ve got to move on. You know what I mean? Get over it,” Matt said.
Matt Hardy Provides A Health Update On Brother Jeff Hardy
Jeff Hardy recently revealed that he has been dealing with two bulging discs on the left side of his neck since losing the NXT Tag Team Titles to DarkState (Dion Lennox and Osiris Griffin) at NXT Halloween Havoc.
Matt Hardy, on his The Extreme Life of Matt Hardy podcast, gave fans an update on Jeff’s condition. He revealed that his brother is doing better and that they’re talking with doctors to find solutions for reducing his pain, with the intention of avoiding the need for him to choose surgery.
Matt said, “We’re going to talk with some of the doctors, and there’s a special person coming in about whether they can manipulate it… maybe what the best thing is they can do to try and ease the pain. They’re not protruding too badly and they have gotten better, and he’s been doing the things that he can do. He would rather do it as naturally and as organically as possible.”
