Marina Shafir Tips the Scales In AEW Women’s Tag Team Action
AEW Women’s Tag Team division got a huge boost tonight as Penelope Ford was cleared to make her in-ring return tonight on Dynamite in Orlando, Florida.
Ford, who teams up with Megan Bayne regularly, was set to take part in the AEW Women’s World Tag Team Championship tournament, but suffered an injury that ruled her out of the tournament.
Bayne instead teamed up with Shafir in the tournament and they reached the semi-finals before losing to the Timeless Love Bombs, and they’ve been feuding since.

They picked up the win after hitting a Doomsday Device on the Shirakawa. However, what was interesting that Marina Shafir made her way out to the ring and stopped Storm from making the save as she caught her in the Mother’s Milk submission once again, before celebrating with Ford and Bayne.
