Malakai Black AEW Return Teased On Dynamite

Malakai Black

It looks like Malakai Black could be set for a return to AEW in the coming weeks after he was featured in a vignette that aired on Dynamite.

At AEW All Out on September 4th after losing to Darby Allin, Miro, and Sting, Malakai Black saluted the crowd with a bow and a kiss that led to speculation that maybe he was leaving the company.

The Dutch star has been absent from AEW television since amid much speculation that he had asked for his release from the company. In a statement he posted on social media he stated, however, that he was given time off by Tony Khan at his request:

“I’ve been given time off by Tony Khan to take care of a bunch of stuff. All this stuff was weeks ago. I posted that statement as a summary to understand why I [am taking] some time off. It is in the statement. It’s mind-boggling.”

Now it looks like Malakai Black’s return could be sooner than later after a vignette featuring the entire House of Black group aired on the 2nd of November edition of Dynamite. During the video, Julia Hart was seen apparently laying the other members of the group to rest before they suddenly appeared to rise from their various endings.

Malakai Black’s voice can be heard towards the end of the vignette as he says:

“Father of the black light, giver of the scythe that takes, giver of the scythe that creates. Forget me not father, see me now mother.”
