Major WWE Team Set To Challenge The Vanity Project At NXT Stand And Deliver
The WWE NXT Tag Team Championship match for this coming weekend’s Stand and Deliver was officially confirmed on tonight’s edition of the black and silver promotion.
The Interim General Manager, Robert Stone, had announced a tag team tournament to determine the number one contenders for The Vanity Project, and the final of the tournament concluded tonight.
The two teams that faced off in the finals were the newly formed Birthright faction and Los Americanos, who were only added to the tournament last week after Sean Legacy and Eli Knight were attacked.
WWE NXT Tag Team Titles’ number one contender confirmed
Both teams put on an interesting fight for the NXT Universe and it showed both of them coming close to winning the match. Uriah Connors and Stacks had the rest of Birthright at ringside and they tried their best to help Connors and Stacks.
Lexis King jabbed his cane into Bravo’s face on one occasion following which Shiloh Hill chased them away with a steel chair in his hand. Just when it looked like this would be a fair fight between these four men, El Grande Americano made an appearance.
He distracted the referee long enough for Rayo and Bravo to insert a metal piece inside their masks. They then proceeded to headbutt both Connors and Stacks with their reinforced masks and picked up the win.
The duo will now face off for the Tag Team Championships against Brad Baylor and Ricky Smokes of The Vanity Project at WWE NXT Stand and Deliver this coming Saturday.
