Major Championship Defense Set For WWE NXT Next Week

Tonight’s episode of WWE NXT kicked off as Joe Hendry welcomed the crowd and addressed them regarding his newly won championship. He was then interrupted by The Vanity Project, and they challenged Hendry to a match.

Jackson Drake challenged Joe Hendry for the NXT Championship tonight, and the champion managed to rack up his first successful defense of the championship.

Similarly, the NXT Interim General Manager, Robert Stone, announced another title match for next week’s episode after the success tonight’s title match brought to the brand.

NXT North American Championship to be defended next week

The North American Champion, All-Ego Ethan Page, is currently the longest reigning champion in the company and his run is set to be challenged once again next week.

Stone booked for Ethan Page to defend his title against Shiloh Hill next week as he looks to continue his impressive run with the secondary title of the show.
