Liv Morgan Confesses To Being Angry After Unfortunate WWE Incident
Liv Morgan recently revealed how she felt due to what happened on Raw in June 2025 in a recent interview.
Liv Morgan won the 2026 Women’s Royal Rumble match and secured her spot in the main event at WrestleMania 42.
The win came after an explosive return to action following a hiatus due to a shoulder injury she suffered back in June 2025 on Raw.
She returned to WWE TV at Survivor Series: War Games, where she helped her on-screen boyfriend, Dominik Mysterio, win the Intercontinental Championship by defeating John Cena, who was wrestling his penultimate match.
Morgan returned to the ring at a WWE house show in January, following which she became a staple in the Raw roster once again, competing in singles and tag matches with her faction Judgement Day.
In a recent interview with Reality of Wrestling, Morgan revealed she was really angry when she was injured because she had gained a lot of momentum, which would now have to be halted as she would go into recovery.
I do feel like in the moment that I got injured, I was on a very upward trajectory. And so the injury obviously devastated me. I was very, very angry the whole entire time I had off time.
But now, having successfully recovered, Morgan is looking at everything in a positive light.
The greatest Royal Rumble winner of all time heading into WrestleMania just proving that everything happens for a reason, even our setbacks, you know, and so I feel vindicated.
Liv Morgan Chooses Stephanie Vaquer As WrestleMania Opponent
Morgan had been delaying her decision to choose one of the top two women’s champions in WWE for WrestleMania 42. Over the past few weeks, she appeared on both Raw and SmackDown and taunted both WWE Champion Jade Cargill and World Champion Stephanie Vaquer.
This past Monday on Raw, both champions and Morgan were in the ring at the same time when Morgan attacked La Primera with a mic, signalling that Stephanie Vaquer will be her opponent at WrestleMania.
She then went on to exact revenge on Vaquer for showering her with hurtful comments in the previous episode of Raw, which made Morgan break down and cry.
