Liv Morgan Compares WWE Life To Filming Movies
Liv Morgan is a proud WWE superstar who is also exploring the acting world as well.
As the Women’s Royal Rumble winner for the first time in her decade-plus-long WWE career, Liv Morgan earned the right to challenge any champion at WrestleMania 42 in Las Vegas.
The WWE Monday Night Raw star Morgan will stay loyal to the red brand when she challenges Women’s World Champion Stephanie Vaquer for the Women’s World Title at WrestleMania 42.
Away from the ring, Liv Morgan has appeared in movies and television shows, including the upcoming film “Bad Lieutenant: Tokyo,” which she filmed in May 2025 while still active in WWE. Morgan has also had a guest role in the Chucky TV series and starred alongside Samuel L. Jackson in the film, “The Kill Room.”
In an interview with Brad Gilmore, the former and perhaps future Women’s Champion, Morgan spoke about how different it was doing a movie compared to the hectic life of a WWE superstar.
“Very different pacing. Very different pacing. You know, WWE, I’m running around all day long. I’m doing something all day long. Filming on a film set, it’s like hurry up, hurry up, hurry up, hurry up, and then wait. You know, it’s like we have these early call times.
We have to be hair and makeup ready at this specific time, but then, you know, they’re not ready for you yet.
So, you’re kind of waiting for like five, six hours. You know, adrenaline goes down, energy goes down, you’re kind of feeling like emotionally cold, and then all of a sudden they’re like, ‘All right, let’s go.’ And you’re like, ‘Oh my gosh, I’m about to go film this really emotionally driven scene, and I’ve been sitting in my dressing room for seven hours,’ you know, and so it’s a different preparation. It’s a different pacing.”
Working For WWE Has Helped Liv Morgan As A Performer
There are many wrestlers in the past who have said that performing live in a WWE ring, whether it’s in a match or a promo, is unlike anything else, and it prepares you for being on camera in an acting role as well. Morgan gave her take on that.
“But at the same token, I do feel like all of my WWE experience has made me super comfortable in the environment
Like when I’m getting the opportunity to do acting and I’m on set, I feel like I’m doing like a backstage for WWE. You know, the environment feels very same. I feel like we kind of don’t really understand all the tools that WWE gives us until we are in a different environment and get to use them.” (H/t Ringsidenews)
