Liv Morgan will challenge Stephanie Vaquer for the Women’s World Championship at WrestleMania 42.
Morgan won this year’s Women’s Royal Rumble to punch her ticket to WrestleMania in Las Vegas. In the weeks following her victory, Morgan kept teasing that she was interested in facing either Stephanie Vaquer or Jade Cargill at WrestleMania, building suspense for her road to WrestleMania journey.
However, after Stephanie crashed Morgan’s backstage interview with Michael Cole on Raw and humiliated her with harsh words while questioning her credibility as a wrestler, Morgan decided that she would go after Stephanie’s Women’s World Championship.
Liv Morgan Wants To Make Stephanie Vaquer Pay For Insulting Her And Her Friends
Ahead of her upcoming clash with Stephanie Vaquer, Morgan sat down for a video interview with Brad Gilmore. During the conversation, Liv Morgan revealed what led her to choose Stephanie as her WrestleMania opponent.
Morgan revealed that there were multiple reasons, one of which was Stephanie attacking her beau, Dominik Mysterio. She also didn’t like that Stephanie messed with her Judgment Day stablemate Raquel Rodriguez, and most importantly, she embarrassed her and questioned her 12-year incredible career.
Morgan added that she wants to make her pay for the insults she laid on her and her friends.
“Um, I went for Stephanie for a multitude of reasons. One, she put her hands on Daddy Dom. Two, she is terrorizing my sister Raquel Rodriguez. Three, she tried to embarrass me and diminish all my hard work and accomplishments over the last 12 years of my career. And so, I am excited to personally inform her at WrestleMania.”
