Liv Morgan Close To WWE Return

Liv Morgan

Liv Morgan looks to be nearing a return to the ring.

Despite some obvious high points, Morgan’s 2023 has been badly affected by injury. Both of her Women’s Tag Team Title reigns have come to a premature end thanks to injury, first in May and then again in July.

Morgan hasn’t wrestled since July 17th on Raw, where she and Rodriguez lost the Tag Team Titles to Chelsea Green and Sonya Deville. The loss came after Morgan was attacked prior to the match by Rhea Ripley. The injury angle was used to write her off television.

However, it seems that Morgan won’t be out of the ring for much longer.

Writing in the Wrestling Observer Newsletter, Dave Meltzer noted that Morgan is “expected to return soon.” The update comes after it was reported that Randy Orton is in line to return at or around Survivor Series on November 25th.

Raquel Rodriguez Excited For Liv Morgan To Return

Raquel Rodriguez recently said that she expects Liv Morgan to be back before people could imagine. During the interview, Rodriguez said that she has been in regular contact with her tag team partner.

“I know, I miss her terribly. So I’m very excited for that. But I feel like time has been flying, and she’s just been on it, on her recovery. So I would assume she’d be back sooner rather than later, and probably before any of us can really imagine,”

Since Morgan got injured, Rodriguez has been competing as a singles star and will challenge for the Women’s World Championship at Crown Jewel.
