“It Scarred Me Up Pretty Well” – Liv Morgan Breaks Silence On Brutal WWE Moment
Liv Morgan opens up about her brutal WWE moment ahead of WrestleMania 42. She is scheduled to challenge Stephanie Vaquer for the Women’s World Championship this year at WrestleMania in Las Vegas.
Days before her upcoming title match at the Showcase of the Immortals, Morgan sat down with Chris Van Vliet on his Insight podcast for an exclusive interview.
During the conversation, Chris asked her about a famous moment when she endured a brutal hair whiplash from Bianca Belair during the Women’s Elimination Chamber match on March 1, 2025, in Toronto.
Liv Morgan Enjoyed Wrestling In The Women’s Elimination Chamber Match Last Year
Liv Morgan stated that after she took the hair whip from Bianca Belair, it left a nasty scar for a while. Even though the Women’s Elimination Chamber match was a physically painful experience for her, she still considers it one of her all-time favorite matches.
She stated that she really enjoyed being in the final two with Bianca Belair last year and also lauded everyone for putting together a fabulous Chamber match. Morgan believes it was one of the best Women’s Chamber matches in history.
Chris: You were on the receiving end of one of Bianca Belair’s hardest, loudest hair whips ever. How long did it take for that to heal up?
Liv Morgan: I had a scar for quite a while. Honestly, I haven’t looked at it in a bit. I still think I have a very bit of a tail end mark still. Also, my back too. I have a scar on my back from some injury I had taken from the Elimination Chamber. So yeah, it scarred me up pretty well.
But honestly, that’s like one of my favorite matches ever. That was one of my favorite matches ever, and like the final two with Bianca and I is one of my favorite moments. I feel like the audience really didn’t know who was going to take it.
I think just that Chamber specifically in and of itself, with Jade and Naomi. I just think it was so well done. I think that was like one of the best Chamber matches, in my opinion, for the women.
The 2025 Women’s Elimination Chamber match featured Bianca Belair, Liv Morgan, Alexa Bliss, Roxanne Perez, Bayley, and Naomi. Naomi and Liv Morgan started the match, and before the bell could even ring, Jade Cargill made a surprise return and brutally attacked Naomi, causing her to be stretchered out and eliminated without technically competing.
Bianca Belair entered next and rushed to check on Naomi, but was blindsided by Liv Morgan. Roxanne Perez was the fourth to enter the Elimination Chamber. Bayley entered fifth, and Alexa Bliss was the final entrant.
Bianca Belair won the match and secured a spot at WrestleMania 41. She went on to face Iyo Sky and Rhea Ripley for the Women’s World Championship in a triple threat match.
