Likely Spoiler On Darby Allin’s AEW Future

The AEW World Champion, Darby Allin, is set for a major match this coming weekend, when he’ll face the man he defeated for the title, MJF, at Double or Nothing 2026.

MJF lost the AEW World Championship to Darby Allin in a shocking squash match on the Dynamite after AEW Dynasty. Ever since then, he has been looking to get his rematch against Darby.

The Daredevil refused to give MJF his rematch until Maxwell Jacob Friedman put something on the line as well. After MJF failed to put something valuable on the line, Darby Allin asked for his hair.

Darby Allin faces a potential new challenge on AEW Dynamite

Darby challenged MJF to a Hair vs Title match at Double or Nothing, which the challenger reluctantly accepted. During his run as champion, Darby Allin has been on a roll, defending his title week after week.

He has defeated the likes of Brody King and Konosuke Takeshita till now, and is set to face Speedball Mike Bailey tonight. Allin also has an upcoming challenge, should he survive his match at Double or Nothing.

On tonight’s episode of Dynamite, the leader of La Facción Ingobernable, Rush, sent a message out to Darby Allin. Rush warned Darby that if he wins his match against MJF, he will be waiting to dethrone him as the AEW World Champion.
