BREAKING: MJF Reluctantly Confirms His AEW Future
MJF had a huge decision to make on his AEW future on tonight’s edition of Dynamite as he looked to take back the AEW World Heavyweight Championship from the man who defeated him for the belt, Darby Allin.
The Daredevil has had an incredibly entertaining run with the World Championship, putting on exciting title matches week after week, including tonight’s bout against Konosuke Takeshita.
MJF had been trying to get a rematch from Darby Allin for the title but the champion refused till Maxwell put something on the line. After failing to win the TNT Championship from Kevin Knight, MJF was ultimately challenged to a Hair vs Title match by Allin.
Allin stated that the only way MJF would get his title match at Double or Nothing is if he put his hair on the line and the two-time AEW World Champion struggled with the decision all night.

He even tried helping Takeshita win the title from Allin as he gave his Dynamite Diamond Ring to Don Callis. During their match, Takeshita had an opportunity to use the ring against Allin and win the belt but he refused to do so.
Following a lenthy and hard-hitting bout that had Darby bleeding from the mouth, he ultimately managed to retain the belt after hitting multiple Coffin Drops on Takeshita. Immediately after the match ended, Darby called MJF out to the ring.
He asked Maxwell Jacob Friedman to put pen to paper for their match at Double or Nothing and the former champion did so after some careful consideration.
Just as he signed the contract, MJF began assaulting an already depleted Allin before posing with the title. He tried to hit him with a Tombstone Piledriver from the top rope as well, but was chased away by Kevin Knight as the show went off the air.
