LA Knight Confirms Number Of Entrants In SummerSlam Battle Royal

LA Knight aims to be victorious at SummerSlam.

The megastar is set to compete at the WWE Premium Live event in the SummerSlam Battle Royal, which is sponsored by Slim Jim. Despite taking place at the weekend, few details are known about the match, such as who are all of the confirmed entrants and what will the winner receive.

Knight is the heavy favourite to win the match, with the popularity of the Superstar rising week-on-week, something that Knight himself has admitted he is surprised by.

Knight has let the WWE Universe know one crucial part of the match while appearing on an episode of After The Bell. Knight confirmed to Corey Graves and Kevin Patrick that the sponsored match will have 20 participants all looking for victory in Detroit:

Man, I mean look you’re talking biggest party of the summer, you’re talking a big venue, Ford Field, Detroit, The Motor City and Slim Jim Battle Royal is where I’m gonna be. You got 19 other guys, everybody’s got to get tossed over the top rope. Not gonna make any promises, but I will say this. If you’re talking Slim Jim, you’re talking Battle Royal I got to go savage, Yeah! So, you know, who knows? Who knows what we’re gonna see? There’s gonna be a lot of surprises I’m sure. And stay tuned, Peacock 8 pm. Everybody knows where to be.

Will LA Knight Be On WWE SmackDown?

The popular Superstar has been announced for a match on the SummerSlam go-home episode of SmackDown. Hoping to build momentum for the upcoming Battle Royal, Knight will be facing Sheamus in singles action. Along with Knight and Sheamus, other confirmed entrants for the match are Tommaso Ciampa, Shinsuke Nakamura, Chad Gable and Otis.
