Kurt Angle Calls Out ECW Legend After Personal Insult

The ECW Legend Who Had Heat With WWE star Kurt Angle Over Infamous Segment

Kurt Angle isn’t on good terms with one WWE legend.

After winning an Olympic gold medal in 1996, Kurt Angle was unsure about what he wanted to do next. This saw the star try his hand at sports broadcasting while doing whatever he could to maximise on his boom in popularity after the Olympics.

During this period, Angle was famously convinced to attend ECW High Incident by Shane Douglas. During the show, he provided commentary on Taz vs. Little Guido before walking out as The Sandman hung Raven on a cross with barbed wire.

Angle later admitted he was worried about how being connected with the stunt would impact his career prospects, while he also found the obvious religious imagery distasteful.

In a strange twist, Angle ended up appearing on WWE’s relaunched version of ECW ten years later.

Kurt Angle Fires Back

In recent days, an interview with The Sandman with Legion Of Skanks podcast has been doing the rounds on TikTok, where he discussed the infamous Angle. In the clip, Sandman said the WWE Hall of Famer was a “p*ssy” for walking out during the show.

In the comment section, Angle wasted little time in firing back, writing, “If Sandman has a problem with me, then do something about it. You p*ssy.”

During a podcast appearance with Rob Van Dam, The Sandman described his WWE run as “soul-sucking.” The hardcore veteran signed with the company in 2005 to form part of the relaunched ECW brand, but he was released in September 2007.
