Kim Kardashian Was Paid Significant Money By WWE For Major Announcement
A former WWE performer revealed what Kim Kardashian was paid for her one-time WWE appearance.
At WWE WrestleMania 24 in 2008 in Orlando, Kim Kardashian was one of the celebrities who was on the show. That appearance was early in Kardashian’s celebrity career, but she was still paid a lot of money to be there.
The first time Kardashian appeared was backstage when she announced that the Money in the Bank Ladder Match was coming up next. Ken Kennedy showed up to say he would win it for the second year in a row. He said “Kennedy” right in her face because that was a thing that he does.
Later in the broadcast, Kardashian wore a green dress and tried to appear enthusiastic while announcing the attendance figure written on a card.
While standing in the ring, Kardashian announced that 74,635 people were in attendance at the Citrus Bowl in Orlando.
WWE Paid Kim Kardashian $25,000 For One WrestleMania Appearance
Jonathan Coachman, aka Coach, was on the SmackDown commentary team at WrestleMania 24. On a recent episode of his Coach & Bro podcast, Coachman revealed that WWE paid Kardashian $25,000 for a one-night appearance at WrestleMania 24, and that Kardashian didn’t remember the number.
“2008, my last WrestleMania, Kim Kardashian was just becoming big, and I remember we paid her $25,000 to come out at what’s the Citrus Bowl in Orlando and announce the attendance.
Do you know that she could not remember the number and had to write it on a card, and it sounded a little something like this. Hello, Orlando, uh, well, new record 60. Oh, it was brutal.”
That was Kim Kardashian’s only WWE appearance, and she is an even bigger celebrity today than she was in 2008.
