Although already confirmed to be a playable character in AEW Fight Forever, Kenny Omega may be expanding his video game credentials in the near future!

As an avid fan of video games himself, it’s no surprise that Kenny Omega has been heavily involved in the production of AEW Fight Forever, as well as being a brand representative for AEW Games as a whole. However, there’s a possibility in ‘The Best Bout Machine’ making his debut in another franchise.

During his trip to Japan, Omega was scanned into the system for the Yakuza franchise, indicating that he’ll be added to one of their games in some capacity. SEGA recently announced three new franchise entries during the RGG Summit, with fans speculating that Omega will be added to Yakuza 8.

The addition of the former AEW World Champion wouldn’t be quite as surprising as it may seem. Yakuza 6 famously involved a handful of NJPW roster members, including Tetsuya Naito, Hiroshi Tanahashi, and Omega’s acclaimed rival Kazuchika Okada.

Although initially slated to be in Japan as part of AEW Games’ presentation at the Tokyo Game Show, Kenny Omega’s name was removed from advertising materials following his suspension from the company. Omega made the journey to Japan anyway, reuniting with his former Golden Lovers partner Kota Ibushi.
