Kendal Grey Takes Out NXT Tag Team Partner Following Massive Win
The main event of tonight’s episode of WWE NXT was set up during the opening segment of the show as the newly crowned Women’s North American Champion, Zaria, came out to celebrate her win.
She defeated Tatum Paxley in the main event last week to finally get her hands on the title. She was talking about her championship victory when Kelani Jordan interrupted her, and soon enough, they were joined by Lola Vice and Kendal Grey.
The four women were arguing in the ring as the NXT General Manager, Robert Stone, came out and announced a huge tag team match for the main event. Lola Vice and Kendal Grey teamed up to take on Zaria and Kelani Jordan.
The match started slowly but picked up the pace quickly and delved into chaos by the time the winner was announced. Zaria had been dominating Kendal and Lola for large parts of the match and seemed to pick up the win by hitting an F5 on Grey.
However, Grey turned it into a Fujiwara armbar and started to turn things around for her team. She almost made Zaria tap out, but she countered with a powerbomb, allowing Lola to tag herself in the match.
Kendal Grey takes out Lola Vice on WWE NXT
She had Zaria trapped in the Guillotine choke as Kendal stopped Kelani from interrupting and locked in the ankle lock. Kelani countered by throwing Grey out of the ring and then took her out with a dive.
Vice then attacked Jordan with a running senton, but Zaria, who had recovered by now, took her out with a Spear. She was about to hit an F5 on Vice, but Tatum Paxley emerged from the crowd, distracting her.
She went after Paxley, but missed, and Vice then took her out with a spinning Roundhouse Kick. She pushed Zaria into the ring and hit her with a Spinning Backfist to pick up the win.

Following the match, Vice and Kendal were locked in a staredown as they’re set to face each other for the NXT Women’s Title at the Great American Bash, but Kelani grabbed the title from Vice.
As Kendal tried to take the belt from Jordan, she accidentally hit Lola in the head with the title and apologized repeatedly as the show went off air.
